We’re excited to share Cadence, the first of several new series we’ll be launching from our summer of r+d! This series brings together dyed wood and wrapped textiles in layered, vertical rhythms. These pieces are designed to feel both architectural and organic—balancing structure with softness in a way that makes them work anywhere from clean corporate spaces to serene spa retreats.

As with so much of our custom commission work—each piece in the Cadence series is created as a custom installation, with dimensions, finishes, and layouts tailored to the space. For example, in this sample piece, the tonal blues and natural cotton cording suggest an almost nautical mood—perfect for a coastal project. In contrast, a palette of dark charcoal and deep black with metallic cording could feel strikingly modern and refined. The result is a textural composition that adapts seamlessly to its environment.
