One of the challenges we often hear from our interior design and art consulting clients is providing original, imaginative, dimensional art concepts in full production quantity, scale, and pricing. Over the last 5+ years, we have seen the desire to incorporate textural, sculptural works into guestroom, healthcare, and corporate interior spaces, and we are HERE FOR IT! As an art studio with tons of experience in hospitality consulting and hundreds of complicated custom projects under our belt, we are uniquely situated to collaborate on these types of projects and develop art pieces that make sense for budgets, scale, and production while still giving the space a truly custom, original piece.
Our "Fringe" style series was customized especially for the luxe guestrooms of the Fairmont Kea Lani in Hawaii. The subtle variations of hand printing and assembly of each piece mean each is completely unique.
A simple, elegant cut floral design into thick, painted watercolor paper reveals a patterned, shadow element-bringing an entirely new dimension to two dimensional work. Simple, elegant framing make for elegant presentation. The scattered river rock motif created from paperclay, painted with a watercolor finish and silver leaf accents bring hand crated warmth and interest to a guestroom art concept. Our Disks on Panel (shown in 2 formats below) are infinitely adaptable-the colors, scale, imprints, and layout can all be customized to work for your project.
With our carpentry and fabrication partners, we transform our more complex, Public Area–appropriate assemblage installations, like our Nexus Forms series, into bold, carved-walnut wall pieces that deliver the same visual impact on a production-friendly budget.
These hand painted encaustic disks created for the high end Norwegian Cruise Line Aqua Haven Suites are mounted using a pin mounting and standoff system to allow the disks to layer.
Dimensional collage work is a great, budget friendly option for bringing layered, interesting artwork into a guestroom-type setting. This piece is adapted from our "Chromatic Collage" licensing series and is mounted behind glass in a shadowbox frame.
